Business Recorder Logo The Met Office on Saturday forecasted isolated rain/snow in Northeast Balochistan, North Punjab, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir in the next 24 hours.

It said isolated rain/snow was expected in Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions of Balochistan, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Sargodah divisions of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

"A fresh western disturbance is likely to approach on Sunday that would generate scattered rain with snow over the hills in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

This weather system is likely to persist for three to four days (Sunday to Wednesday)," the office said in its weather synopsis.

It recorded lowest temperature Kalam minus 10 degree centigrade, Parachinar and Malamjabba minus 8 degree centigrade each, Astore minus 7 degree centigrade, Gupis & Skardu minus 5 degree centigrade each during the last 24 hours.
