Islamabad: The weather would remain cold and dry in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Department said here on Monday.

According to officials of Met office, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Hazara division received showers on some places and snowfall on mountains during last 24 hours.

The most rain was recorded in Darosh at 8 millimeters followed by Kalam and Dir at 6mm, Rawalakot 5, Lower Dir 3 and Chitral 2. Also, Darosh and Kalam were battered by 6 inches snowfall.

Areas buckling below freezing point are Kalat minus 12, Quetta minus 8, Kalam and Gopas minus 6; while, Malamjabba and Murree were frozen under minus 5 degree centigrade.
